Newcasle Central Station - Love Art North East Art Market

I'll be at Newcastle's Central Train Station for the Love Art North East Art Market on the first Friday of the month - running from the February to December 2020. So, the first Market is on Friday 1st February and we'll be there - under the clock - from 9:30am - 18:30pm.
Brancepeth Castle - Summer Fair

I'll be at the fantastic Brancepeth Castle Craft Fair running from Friday 24th July to Sunday 26th July 2020 Come along and join me and a host of other fantastic traders to find those special unique gifts. The fair opens at 10am and closes at 5pm on Friday and Saturday, but opens at the later time of 12 noon on Sunday.
Entry is £3 for adults, £2 oap's, and children free when accompanied by an adult.
Durham Christmas Festival

Come and join me and more than 250 other independent traders at the wonderful Durham Christmas Festival running from Friday 4th December to Sunday 6th December 2020, held in and around the World Heritage Site of the Cathedral and Castle and throughout the City Centre.
As well as the market, there'll also be children's entertainment including fire eating and juggling on Palace Green, static birds of prey, Christmas storytelling, facepainting, sandart, the annual Children’s Lantern Parade and much more.
Always a highlight of the Festival, the Lantern Parade will leave the Market Place on at 3.45pm on Saturday 30th November, winding its way up to Palace Green behind the Chester-le-Street Salvation Army Band, and arriving at the Cathedral in time for the St Nicholas Service at 4.10pm.
Tynemouth Market
I attend Tynemouth Market from time to time - and It's often a good place to catch me if you are interested in chatting to me about commissions and/or my artwork. When I'm due to attend Tynemouth, I'll post details on my Social Media pages and on here to - so do keep a look out and by all means get in touch to arrange to meet me there.

Workshop - Drawing Animal Portraits with Matt Smith

Delight & Wisdom, a fab art materials shop located at the Market Square in Corbridge who also run a series of Art Workshops with local Artists and Artisans have asked me to run a Pet Portrait workshop on Friday 8th February 2019 11am - 4pm.
The workshop will offer you an opportunity to use a range of the materials that I use to produce my portraits (charcoals, chalks, Pierre Noire's, graphite and carbons) and to have a go at drawing your own pet too.
The workshop includes lunch and materials are provided for you.
