As a wee nipper I was always mesmerised by A A Milne's stories about a small, beffudled bear. E H Shepherd's illustrations brought the stories to life. It was the perfect partnership of writer and illustrator.
 
Ever since then, I've loved bears of all kinds; from Grizzley's to Sun Bears, to the biggest of all bears - The Polar Bear! To me, they're big cuddly characters that come alive in your imagination, just as this chap has!
